Following the death of Mr. Alphonse Lepage, the Ville de Brossard, in collaboration with his family, announces that a chapelle ardente will be held at the socio-cultural center of the same name. Brossard residents are invited to pay their last respects to the man who was Brossard’s third mayor from 1978 to 1982.
Chapelle ardente – Saturday, August 28, 9 to 11 a.m.
Citizens can visit the Sociocultural Center, located at 7905 San Francisco Avenue, this Saturday, August 28, between 9 and 11 a.m. It will also be possible to write a personalized message in the town’s guest book.
In compliance with current health regulations, masks must be worn indoors at all times. In addition, the event will comply with the standard of restricted capacity inside buildings.
Private funerals
Mr. Lepage’s funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at La Résurrection Community Centre. The private ceremony will be held in the presence of family members and friends only, as the number of seats is limited by health standards.
In lieu of flowers, citizens wishing to pay tribute to Mr. Lepage are invited to make a memorial donation to the Fondation Alphonse-Lepage.
