On Saturday evening, Ville de Brossard paid tribute to the volunteers and organizations in Brossard who demonstrate an invaluable commitment to the community. A colorful evening honored four individuals and two organizations.

Call for entries – Edition 2024
The call for nominations for the Gala de l’action bénévole 2024 will go out this fall. It’s an opportunity to shine the spotlight on a volunteer or organization that makes a difference in the lives of others!
To submit the name of an outstanding volunteer, please write to [email protected], mentioning the name of the volunteer or the organization for which he or she works, as well as your name as nominator. Once the application form is available, our teams will guide you through the nomination process.
Volunteers and organizations nominated will be eligible for a variety of awards:
- Mayor’s Prize
- Prix Jeune en action
- Emerging Volunteer Award
- Aîné en mouvement Award
- Innovaction Award (for an organization)
- Committed Citizen Award
All involved citizens who do volunteer work can be recognized in the Committed Citizen category. The final selection of winners will take place in spring 2024.

The Gala de l’action bénévole is an annual event that recognizes the remarkable contribution of those who give of their time and energy to help the community thrive. It aims to highlight the involvement of volunteers and organizations who work tirelessly to improve the quality of life of Brossard residents of all ages.
