OSM in the Parks presented by BMO
On Tuesday, August 19 at 7:30 p.m., Ville de Brossard welcomes the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM) for a free outdoor concert, conducted by Rafael Payare, in Parc Poly-aréna. This exceptional evening, presented as part of the OSM in the Parks tour and made possible by BMO, promises to bring together music lovers and the curious from all corners of Quebec.
As the only city on the South Shore to welcome the OSM this year, Brossard offers its citizens and vacationers a rare opportunity to attend a high-caliber symphony concert, in an exceptional setting under the stars.
A vibrant program to the rhythm of dance
The dance-inspired program will spotlight violinist Dmytro Udovychenko, young prodigy and winner of the 2023 Montreal International Music Competition. He will performThaïs‘ tenderMéditationand Ravel’s flamboyant Tzigane. The evening will be hosted by André Robitaille and will culminate in Borodin’s famous Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor.

Free, convenient shuttles offered by RTL
To facilitate travel and avoid the search for parking spaces, particularly due to construction work limiting parking spaces around Parc Poly-aréna, the City of Brossard and the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) are providing spectators with free transportation options:
- Special RTL shuttle: round-trip service between the Centre Socioculturel Alphonse-Lepage (next to the library, 7905 avenue San Francisco) and the concert site, before and after the show.
- Free bus routes (41, 43 and 44): simply present the OSM coupon in the parks, available on the RTL website: rtl-longueuil.qc.ca/infos-pratiques/evenements
A tasty moment of classical music in the open air
Audiences are invited to enjoy the open-air concert from the comfort of their own seats on the lawn of Parc Poly-aréna! To make the evening even more enjoyable, we recommend you bring a picnic, a folding chair or blanket, and a reusable water bottle. Filling stations will be available on site.
The concert takes place rain or shine. In case of rain, wear a raincoat. Umbrellas are not recommended so as not to impair public visibility.
