Ville de Brossard is proud to present L’Histoire avec un grand A, an open-air exhibition that traces the evolution of the A sector, one of the city’s historic cradles, with sensitivity and authenticity.

This unique exhibition highlights the memories, stories and faces that have shaped this iconic neighborhood, through the moving testimonials of its residents. A veritable foray into the past, it invites visitors to rediscover the human, cultural and community wealth of Sector A, while strolling through the magnificent Parc Saint-Alphonse.

The result of a collaborative effort with committed citizens, the exhibition reflects the pride of a neighborhood deeply rooted in Brossard’s identity. It also reflects the municipal desire to preserve the essence of the area while adapting it to the needs of an ever-changing community.

“Sector A is much more than a neighborhood: it’s a living memory and a collective history. This exhibition is a gesture of recognition and listening. It allows us to remember where we come from and to build our future together,” says Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.

“Sector A is part of Brossard’s roots. This exhibition is a reminder of what this district has contributed to our city, and of what we can still build together,” adds Stéphanie Quintal, city councillor for secteur A.

To mark the launch, the town is organizing a festive family event on Saturday, June 14, from 12 pm to 3 pm. On the program: free creative workshops, alcohol-free cocktails and a unique performance by the Wooden Shapes band, revisiting the greatest hits of recent decades.

Never-before-seen photos. Surprising anecdotes. Living memory.

Don’t miss this open-air exhibition, presented until September 7, 2025, at 2500, avenue Athènes, in Sector A of Brossard.
