Discount microchipping, adoption and family activities
Organized by the Ville de Brossard, Pet Day is back for its 12th edition on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Michel-Normandin arena. Free and open to all, this event is the annual rendezvous for animal lovers, families and anyone wishing to learn more about their well-being.
The event will bring together professionals from the animal world, shelters, specialized exhibitors and activities for young and old, in a friendly, festive atmosphere dedicated to animal well-being.

A day to discover, learn and act
Beyond its unifying character, the event is also an opportunity to promote responsible pet ownership, particularly in terms of safety, identification, animal welfare and compliance with municipal regulations.

On the program:
- dog acrobatics shows;
- make-up for children;
- exotic animals;
- discovery quiz;
- cotton candy and street trucks;
- specialized exhibitor booths;
- partner organizations and shelters.
Citizens will also be able to ask questions of animal care professionals and discover useful resources to help them take better care of their companion.
Discount micropuncture clinic
The City will also offer an on-site micropiping clinic at the reduced cost of $30. The microchip is a simple, effective way of identifying your pet and facilitating its return home in the event of loss.
Registrations must be made online in advance. As places are limited, no on-site registrations will be accepted.
“In Brossard, pets play an important role in the lives of many families. This day is a great opportunity to get together, have fun and discover simple gestures that promote safety, animal welfare and responsible pet ownership,” said Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.
