Universal Children’s Day

On the occasion of Universal Children’s Day today, and as part of the Grande semaine des tout-petits, from November 17 to 23, Brossard is proud to hoist the Child-Friendly Municipality (CFM) flag in front of City Hall.

This symbolic gesture reaffirms Brossard’s commitment to the well-being of children. The city has been recognized as a Child-Friendly Municipality, and the Grande semaine des tout-petits is a national initiative that highlights the importance of consolidating our efforts to meet the basic needs of the very young.

“The city is committed to putting young children at the heart of its priorities. It is essential to provide them with a healthy living environment conducive to their development. Children’s happiness undeniably influences that of society as a whole; it’s a collective responsibility. Together, we can build inclusive and caring environments,” said Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard and President of Espace MUNI.

Brossard invites all municipalities to join the MAE network and support initiatives that promote the development and fulfillment of children.
