Ville de Brossard today announced the launch of a new interactive map that will compile information on all construction sites on the territory. Developed over the past few months with Technologies OPA, a leader in the geospatial management of obstructions, road closures and traffic detours, this tool will give motorists, cyclists and pedestrians access to accurate and complete information on current and future roadworks in Brossard.
A map that paves the way
Year after year, spring is an exciting time of year, as construction sites resurface and parks and green spaces take on a new lease of life. This renewal is often synonymous with roadworks, and these are sometimes accompanied by detours and traffic jams. The new card will offer a number of advantages for those who consult it, including
- details of all current and future projects at a glance;
- real-time site progress;
- recommended detours to avoid obstructions.
We are constantly striving to improve the digital tools available to our citizens,” said Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard. This new interactive map will make it possible to provide information more quickly to the entire population, so that they have all the relevant information about construction sites on the territory at their fingertips, and can better plan their trips,” she added.
