Brossard Mayor Doreen Assaad, accompanied by city councillors Antoine Assaf (sector R), Michelle J. Hui (sectors L-N-J-X-Y), Claudio Benedetti (sectors T-S-P), Pierre Jetté (sectors O-N-I), Sylvie DesGroseilliers (sectors L-M-N) and Christian Gaudette (sectors C-E-B), visited the brand-new 4-year-old kindergarten group at Les Frimousses day camp last Friday, on the site of Lucille-Teasdale school.
“It’s always a real pleasure for me to visit our young Frimousses every summer, and it’s important for me, as well as for the members of Council, to salute our motivated employees who make a positive impact in the lives of these children during their summer stay,” emphasizes Mayor Doreen Assaad.
In compliance with current health regulations, the lively, active children take part in various activities organized by the camp team, and enjoy the city’s facilities, such as outdoor pools and parks. The town is proud to offer children special events every week, such as shows and workshops by specialists. What’s more, new this year, all day camp children have the chance to visit the aquatic complex once a week.
At Les Frimousses day camp, fun is the order of the day, but the safety of our youngsters remains a priority. The team ensures that all participants wash their hands frequently, disinfect surfaces and rooms, and enforce physical distancing and the wearing of masks when required.
