Gala de l’action bénévole 2026

In keeping with tradition, the Ville de Brossard held its 2026 Volunteer Gala on Saturday, May 9 at the Michel-Normandin arena. This annual evening of recognition honours those who, through their dedication and generosity, contribute to making the brossardoise community shine.

Warmly hosted by Marie-Claude Barrette, the evening brought together some 800 volunteers and highlighted the remarkable careers of seven recipients of honorary awards for their exceptional commitment. Through these distinctions, the City wanted to highlight inspiring career paths and remind us of the importance of citizen involvement in the vitality and dynamism of the Brussells living environment.

“Volunteers give so much more than their time: they listen, comfort and create essential links in our community. Thanks to their generosity and commitment, Brossard remains a humane, vibrant and supportive city. This gala is an opportunity to thank them and recognize the tangible impact they have on the lives of many citizens,” declared Brossard Mayor Doreen Assaad.
