A festive and accessible event, in partnership with the Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ) and the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie.
After being the most popular walk in all of Quebec in 2024, Brossard invites its citizens to take up a new collective challenge: to be even more numerous on Saturday, October 18, 2025 to walk together for health, family and fun, on the occasion of La Grande marche d’Halloween, at the Grand parc urbain.
This free event, open to all, runs from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, with continuous departures. The 3 km route is punctuated by more than 15 themed stations, featuring scenery, costumed characters and a festive atmosphere. The walk ends at 9 pm.

To enhance the experience, the city warmly invites the public to take part in Halloween costumes and discover an international-scale light installation, presented for the first time in Brossard.
Last year, Brossard demonstrated its vitality and community spirit with the largest turnout in Quebec. This year, not only is the City hoping to beat its record, but also to highlight the importance of healthy lifestyle habits, by encouraging even more families and Halloween enthusiasts to join the movement.
“By partnering with the FMOQ and the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie, we are promoting healthy lifestyle habits and a healthy community. This isn’t just a walk to beat a record: it’s a time to get moving together, celebrate Halloween and pass on to our children the importance of the pleasure of being active,” emphasizes Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.
