The SODA space for teenagers aged 12 to 17 is now open!

Ville de Brossard is pleased to announce the reopening of the SODA space for 12- to 17-year-olds at the Bibliothèque de Brossard Georgette-Lepage, starting today at 4 pm.

After more than 2? years of closure due to the pandemic, the SODA space will once again be accessible to teenagers. To mark the reopening of this unique space dedicated to young people, a big party will be organized for the occasion on September 24.

Saturday, September 24, from 1 to 4 p.m., is a date not to be missed by teenagers. DJ Solo will be on hand to demonstrate mixing and the rudiments of scratch technique. Following the workshop, youngsters can enjoy a candy bar and take part in a video and board game tournament. Registration is required to take part. It is available online on the library’s website.

What is the SODA space?

The SODA space offers monthly themed selections of books, video and board games, laptops and technological equipment, as well as reconfigurable furniture. It’s the ideal place to do schoolwork, relax and chat with friends, play a video game, embark on an art project, discover books on exciting themes or take part in lively activities.
