Bibliothèque de Brossard Georgette-Lepage | Grand concours Gagnez à visiter votre biblio!

10 February 2023 Last update 17/05/2025

Brossard residents are invited to take part in the Grand Concours Gagnez à visiter votre biblio! which runs from February 12 to 25, 2023.
The Ville de Brossard, in collaboration with the Quebec Public Libraries Association (QPLA) and its partners BIBLIOPRESTO, Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec and the Réseau BIBLIO du Québec, is proud to invite Brossard residents to participate in the Grand concours Gagnez à visiter votre biblio! which will run from February 12 to 25, 2023 inclusively. The aim of this Quebec first is to remind everyone that libraries are living places to be (re)discovered.

Look for the golden tickets

The Grand concours invites citizens to search for golden tickets hidden throughout the library’s aisles and stacks, and to register online at grandconcoursbiblio.ca. Seventeen regional grand prizes donated by Quebec personalities and 200 instant prizes are up for grabs! Guylaine Guay, Mélissa Bédard, Fabien Cloutier, Samuel Piette, Louise Penny, Marianna Mazza and many other celebrities represent the administrative regions of Quebec, and will be presenting a personalized gift to the winners.

For the Bibliothèque de Brossard Georgette-Lepage, participants have a chance to win a personalized gift from artist Patricia Paquin, from the Montérégie administrative region. This is a very special award developed by the artist to promote Quebec culture. What’s more, the lucky winner will get to spend some quality time with the artist.

In addition, you can win iPads and gift cards to Leslibraires.ca, Rabais Campus and Chocolats Favoris by filling out the online form. Keep your eyes peeled, because a new golden ticket will be hidden in your library every day for the duration of the competition.

Why visit your public library?

  • Libraries are lively, inspiring places: we go there to read, work, tinker, move, learn, try things out. They’re lively and dynamic!
  • Libraries offer free services and spaces that are accessible to all: they provide a wide range of services without discrimination, to meet people’s needs for information, culture, education and much more.
  • Libraries are staffed by dedicated, competent people who are there for the public: working in a public library means taking human relations to heart and striving for excellence in customer service.
