The Fab Lab will reopen its doors on October 14, 4 pm, for technology and creative enthusiasts.
The Georgette-Lepage Brossard Library is pleased to announce the reopening of the Fab Lab for curious technology and digital creation enthusiasts, on October 14, starting at 4 pm.
What is the Fab Lab Brossard?
It’s a community space where you can make and realize all kinds of projects. Digital fabrication tools open up a world of possibilities, while the spirit of mutual aid makes the place pleasant and accessible. A number of high-tech devices are available, including a digital embroidery machine, 3D printers, a laser cutting machine, computers equipped with a wide range of software, as well as traditional tools and materials of all kinds.
Opening event – October 16
To mark the reopening, the public (aged 12 and over and adults) is invited to come and discover or rediscover the Fab Lab and its new equipment on October 16. Tours will be offered throughout the day, and the most curious won’t leave empty-handed!
Are your teens into techno? Sign them up for the Fab’s new Secret Society club on Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m., and give them the chance to experiment with a variety of equipment and complete an array of digital creation projects.
