Arbor Day is back again this year. As part of this special day, the Town will be offering 350 trees to the public at a cost of $10. Citizens wishing to purchase a tree at a low price will be able to do so from 9 a.m. on August 16, 2022.
350 new trees to contribute to Brussel’s environment.
As part of its efforts to increase forest cover and reduce heat islands, seven (7) different species will be available to Brossard residents who wish to enhance their landscaping and contribute to the greening of the city.

“With the return of Arbor Day, more than 350 trees have been added to the 10,000 already distributed to Brossard residents since 2010. The popularity of this event demonstrates, year after year, the interest of citizens in contributing to making Brossard a greener city, by improving the urban canopy and reducing heat islands”, emphasized Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.

Starting August 16, 9 a.m., you can reserve and pay for your tree on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Citizens interested in purchasing a tree can do so directly via the online form available at the JDA, and those wishing to do so can also call Service Brossard at 450 923-6311. The trees will be distributed from September 12, 2022, and confirmation of delivery will be sent to purchasers.
