Arbor Day in autumn mode | 300 trees available for home delivery

10 August 2021 Last update 17/05/2025

Arbor Day allows you to reserve a tree, at a low price, starting August 16. This will be delivered to your home in the autumn.

Arbor Day is back again this year, with a brand new format adapted to the sanitary measures put in place to limit the spread of COVID-19. The annual event, which has donated more than 10,000 plants to Brossard residents since 2010, will offer residents the chance to reserve a tree, at a low price, from August 16, for delivery to their homes in the autumn.

“Year after year, we see how enthusiastic the population is about purchasing a tree as part of this activity. The city has allocated a budget of $2.5 million for the next three years for planting on municipal land, and it’s very encouraging to see how committed Brossard residents are to greening our territory and beautifying our neighbourhoods, particularly by adding a new tree to their property,” said Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.

300 trees to enhance the brossardois landscape

This new edition of Arbor Day will enable residents to purchase a medium or large tree to enhance their landscaping. With eight (8) different species available, horticultural enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice when it comes to bringing a new touch of greenery to their property.
