Brossard, July 7, 2023 – The City of Brossard is pleased to welcome Colette Ouellet to the position of Director of Communications. She will succeed Alain Gauthier, who has just taken a well-deserved retirement.
Ms. Ouellet has an impressive track record. She headed the Communications Department of the City of Sherbrooke for 7 years and, prior to that, of the City of Boucherville. Since 2015, she had been with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ), where she served as Director of the President’s Office and Director of Communications and Public Affairs.
Her skills as a strategic advisor to senior executives, in government affairs and as a manager made her the ideal candidate to meet the current challenges facing the City of Brossard.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in law, a propaedeutic degree in political science, a master’s degree in communications and an MBA from UQAM, where she was the recipient of the institution’s Bourse d’excellence.
The city is looking forward to his arrival on September 5.
