At the May 14 regular meeting, the municipal council appointed Stéphanie Quintal as acting mayor.
At its regular meeting on May 14, the municipal council of the Ville de Brossard appointed Stéphanie Quintal, municipal councillor for district 3 (sector A), to act as deputy mayor. This appointment took effect on May 15, 2024, for an indefinite period.
The deputy mayor has and exercises the powers of the mayor when the latter is absent from the territory or is unable to fulfill the duties of her office.
In accordance with the Cities and Towns Act, a municipality is required to have a deputy mayor at all times.
