The municipal council has adopted by-law REG-462, which will authorize the turnkey design-build of a multi-generational center.
Last night, the municipal council adopted a notice of motion for adoption at a subsequent meeting concerning by-law REG-462, which will authorize the turnkey design-build of a multigenerational center, thereby allocating the city the necessary funds, i.e. $31.8 million, to carry out the project. Qualified design contractors will therefore be able to bid on the project over the coming months.
“Our teams are mobilized and very efficient, which means that the Centre multigénérationnel project is moving ahead at high speed. The council and I are extremely proud of what we’re building for the population. It’s a project that will appeal to all age groups and make citizens proud of their city, and that’s very exciting,” says Mayor Doreen Assaad.
