Donation of Artworks to the City
The Ville de Brossard is proud to announce the addition of 21 paintings to its municipal collection. Donated to the Brossard Cultural Heritage Corporation by a longtime resident, Mr. François Ladouceur, these works were created by various artists—mostly from Quebec—who were active from the late 1940s through the early 1990s. They serve to highlight the local artistic heritage while encouraging its sharing with the community.

A Unifying Cultural Mission
“This significant bequest enriches the municipal collection and ensures the preservation of these artistic creations for future generations. It underscores the importance of access to culture and, we hope, will encourage others—artists, collectors, or families—to join this collective effort,” said Brossard Mayor Doreen Assaad.
The Brossard Cultural Heritage Corporation contributes to the development of the Ville de Brossard’s public collection, supports local and regional visual artists, and promotes the display of their works in venues accessible to the public.
To further this mission, the Ville de Brossard would like to remind residents that donating works of art helps preserve and showcase Brossard’s cultural richness, while also promoting local artists.
The criteria for accepting donations of works of art are available at brossard.ca/appel.
The Ville de Brossard extends its warmest thanks to the Brossard Cultural Heritage Corporation, its president, Mr. François Ladouceur—a Brossard-based donor and multidisciplinary artist with a remarkable career—as well as the artists whose works make up this priceless legacy for the community.
