This year’s event broke all attendance records, with more than 10,500 people in attendance.
The Centre Socioculturel Alphonse-Lepage was the scene of an exceptional event from November 17 to 19: the Marché de Noël de Brossard. This year’s event broke all attendance records, with over 10,500 people discovering gourmet products and original creations from 75 exhibitors. The warm atmosphere, inspired by European traditions, was enhanced by a varied and entertaining program that delighted the audience.
With its many activities, including workshops, tales and legends, a visit from Santa Claus and a ride on the little train, the event offered a magical and convivial experience for all participants. Among the weekend’s highlights were three free traditional music performances on the outdoor stage, which drew the audience into a festive atmosphere. Spokesman Nicolas Boulerice shared his love of Quebec’s musical heritage with the audience.
“The Brossard Christmas Market was a resounding success for young and old alike. A crowd of 10,500 visitors in 3 days is magical! The event showcased the talent of our artisans, while launching the festive season in a spirit of joy and good cheer,” said Doreen Assaad, Mayor of Brossard.
