This prestigious event recognizes citizens who have distinguished themselves in an exceptional way.

The city celebrated the 35th Ordre du mérite de Brossard ceremony last night. This prestigious event, during which five new Brussells laureates were honored, aims to recognize citizens who have distinguished themselves in an exceptional way in their field of expertise.

In the current context, the ceremony took place in virtual mode, live on the town’s Facebook page. For the occasion, the Mayor of Brossard, Doreen Assaad, addressed the winners live from the evening’s recording studio. City councillors, laureates, former laureates and members of the public were all in virtual attendance, not only to honor the new laureates of the 2021 ceremony, but also to celebrate 35 years of existence of the Ordre du mérite. A tribute video, specially created to celebrate past winners, was shown at the event.

This virtual evening, hosted by Katerine-Lune Rollet, featured a brand new feature: a chat room to which panelists were invited. This much-appreciated novelty enabled participants to network with one another.

The city would like to warmly congratulate the five (5) recipients of this 35th edition who, thanks to their expertise, leadership, perseverance and great passion, are now part of this illustrious group of citizens who have received this honour and who make Brossard shine beyond its borders.
