300 in gift cards to be won! | Brossard launches its Christmas drawing competition for primary school pupils

The deadline for submitting drawings is Friday, November 3.

Ville de Brossard is once again holding a drawing contest to illustrate its Christmas cards. This year, in addition to^5th and ^6th graders,^4th graders are also invited to participate. Gift cards worth a total of $300 will be awarded to the winners. The deadline for submitting drawings is Friday, November 3.

What’s new?

• Each winner will receive $100 in gift cards.
• Two drawings will be chosen to illustrate the Christmas cards, and one drawing will appear on the front page of the December newsletter.
• A giant poster featuring the winning drawings will be displayed in front of the town hall throughout December.
• Two drawings will be selected through a vote on the City’s Facebook page. The public will be asked to choose 2 of the 10 works selected by a jury made up of representatives of the town. The third drawing will be chosen by the members of the jury.

Eligibility criteria

• Living in Brossard
• Be in grade⁴,⁵ or ⁶ of elementary school (regardless of the school the child attends, as long as he or she is a Brossard resident)
• Drawing on plain background
• Fairly dark colors
• Unfolded drawing, 8.5″ x 11″ format
• No text on the design
• Register and download the drawing at ca/competition

Winners announced

The City will contact the contest winners in mid-November to inform them and obtain the original drawings.
