A new collection of board games awaits the public at the Brossard Georgette-Lepage Library.

The 24th edition of Quebec Public Library Week, which runs from October 15 to 22 under the theme Ma Biblio: Beyond Words, is designed to highlight the intrinsic qualities of public libraries, which play an active role in the cultural, community, social and economic development of their communities. On this occasion, the Georgette-Lepage Brossard Library is offering activities and taking advantage of the event to introduce the public to its new collection of board games for loan.

Activities to play together

A variety of professionally-led board game activities are on offer for children aged 8 and over, teenagers, adults and those aged 50 and over during this Special Week. Please note that registration is required at biblio.brossard.ca/semaine-des-bibliotheques-publiques.

250 games to borrow

Aimed at adults and families with children aged 8 and over, the new free board games available bring together a diversity of themes, genres, number of players and difficulty levels. Whether you’re an occasional card player, a fan of word and word games, or an aficionado of game nights with friends and family, this new collection will enable you to borrow and discover a wide range of new titles.

  • Adult library subscribers (13+)
  • Maximum 2 sets simultaneously
  • 4 weeks, non-renewable
  • Must be returned to the counter
  • Free (charges apply for lost and broken parts)
