Construction of the Quartier viaduct
Terminé August 13, 2018 - Fall 2019Construction work on the Quartier viaduct began on August 13, 2018. They were carried out by the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ), in collaboration with the Ville de Brossard.
- New link between sectors C and L
- Two traffic lanes in both directions
- One-way cycle paths in both directions
- Sidewalk in both directions
Work in progress
The viaduct is now open to traffic! On November 13, the mayor, elected members of the municipal council, city employees and several citizens gathered to officially mark the end of the work and open the viaduct to traffic.
Brossard now has a brand-new link that will open up two key sectors, and eventually provide a direct link to the Du Quartier station on the REM!
