Construction of a new multipurpose trail
En cours April 2025 to spring 2026 (opening planned for spring 2026)Construction of a new multi-purpose trail between the Samuel-De Champlain bridge and the T sector.
Work carried out by Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (PJCCI).
In anticipation of the trail’s opening, Ville de Brossard will complete the pavement markings to identify the shared roadway on Tisserand Avenue, between Parc de la Terre and the Route verte access under the power lines.
Obstacles / Impacts
Between April and July, an on-ramp to Autoroute 10 Est from Route 132 and boulevard Marie-Victorin will be blocked. This obstruction is necessary to build the footbridge over the ramp.
Work in Parc de la Terre will generate noise (heavy machinery and truck traffic).
Parc de la Terre will remain open during the works, and the site will be secured by fencing.
