Progress schedule
Early start to work
En cours September 13, 2025As you may know, the former Métro market site on Milan Boulevard was acquired by the City in 2021. The municipal council has therefore redoubled its efforts in recent years to propose a promising project for this land and, of course, for sector B.
The city awarded the design-build contract for Brossard’s future multigenerational center to Groupe Decarel inc. at a cost of $27,195,000, taxes included, at a special meeting held on Thursday, October 5.
The project, which aims to create a place where the city’s different generations can meet and exchange ideas, will open its doors on September 13, 2025.
Located at 6425, boulevard Milan, this center will offer Brossard residents of all ages a place to meet and have fun.
The multigenerational center is for the entire population of Brussel. It is a place of solidarity and sharing, where young people can benefit from the experience and support of their elders, and elders can benefit from the vitality and creativity of young people.
Gymnasiums, interpretive trails, playrooms, petanque courts and a public square are just some of the many assets of this new meeting place for the city’s different generations.
