Messier, rue – Complete rehabilitation work

Type of work

Complete rehabilitation of the street, including acqueduct and sewers.

More specifically, the work included:

• Replacement of water main and accessories;
• Sewer replacement and rehabilitation;
• The construction of a new pavement structure including the
  paving;
• Installation of a new street lighting network;
• Updating road signs and markings.

Site restoration and wearing course paving at the end of June 2026.

Obstacles / Impacts

During the work, traffic and parking will be prohibited in the construction zone. Road users will have to follow the temporary signs that will be put in place.

• Closure 1 – June 11 to June 16 inclusively: Messier intersection Montpetit: Messier/Montpetit intersection closed
• Closure 2 – June 17 to November 14 : Messier : Closure of rue Messier excluding Montpetit and Mauriac intersections
