Location of work
Place Portobello parking lot, linked to the multifunctional pathway at REM’s Panama station.
The work in brief
- Installation of a drop-off point in the Place Portobello parking lot;
- Extension of the multipurpose path linking the drop-off point to the REM Panama station;
- Relocation of RTL bus stop no. 33956 east of avenue Tisserand and addition of a bus shelter.
Timetable
- July to October 2025
Impact of the work
- Permanent relocation of the Canada Post mailbox approximately 100 metres to the south, on the east side of avenue Tisserand;
- Temporary relocation of bus stop no. 33956 during work ;
- Final relocation of bus stop no. 33956 approximately 50 m to the south (October 2025) and addition of a bus shelter.
Mitigation measures
- Work carried out on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., except with special authorization;
- Dust control (fences, dust covers) and compliance with applicable acoustic standards;
- Safety provided by site fencing and flagmen, where necessary;
- Maintain access to shops, parking lots, services and residences;
- Maintain access to Panama station at all times via avenue Tisserand.
