Phase 1
En cours Spring 2025 to autumn 2025In the spring of 2025, the cities of Longueuil and Brossard will begin work on the rehabilitation of Grande Allée, between rue Alma and rue Beaudelaire. In 2019, Grande Allée was widened between avenue Beaudelaire and the autoroute 30 viaduct.
The project is being carried out jointly with the City of Longueuil.
- Investment of $43 million for work in 2025 and 2026 for the cities of Brossard and Longueuil
- Work carried out between rue Alma and rue Baudelaire
- Reconstruction of roadway and sidewalksReplacement of traffic lights and street lighting
- Reserved lanes for public transit (RTL) in each direction
- One-way bike path on both sides of Grande Allée
- Securing the Route verte crossing
- Replacement of drinking water pipes
- Landscaping
These major works will improve mobility with a safer layout for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as restoring urban infrastructure.
