Excavation work will be carried out at the intersection of boulevard Rome and rue Sartre following an aqueduct failure requiring the replacement of a complete segment of underground pipe.
Type of work
The aim is to repair the damaged infrastructure and ensure the continuity and safety of the water supply system.
An enlarged excavation is required to allow safe execution of the work and installation of the new pipe segment.
Tree felling
Three trees located directly in the right-of-way must be felled to allow access to the pipeline. In line with municipal practice, these trees will be replaced by new ones next spring.
Security and access
- The site perimeter is secured with fencing and appropriate signage.
- The nearby bus shelter is not in the intervention zone and remains accessible.
We thank the public for their understanding during this essential intervention to maintain municipal infrastructures and the reliability of the water supply system.
