Redevelopment
Terminé August 26, 2024 to June 20, 2025At the city council meeting on January 16, Brossard announced the launch of a project to replace the aquatic facilities at Champlain Park.
The redevelopment is designed to modernize and adapt the aquatic services on offer to meet the growing needs of residents, which have evolved considerably since the original facilities were built.
The project in brief:
- Investment of $11,331,000
- New concrete pool with universal access, slide, water basketball, climbing wall and swim lanes.
- Installation of new water games located outside the pool enclosure for use over an extended schedule.
- Construction of a new 4-season service building (to be used in winter for skating).
- Installation of universal washrooms and changing rooms in the new building.
- Picnic tables and a toilet for the park.
Please note that the duration of work is subject to change depending on progress and weather conditions.
Champlain pool
TerminéUpdate – July 21, 2025: Construction is now complete: the Champlain pool is officially open!
The concrete pool was rebuilt to include universal access, a beach entrance, a slide, a climbing wall, a water basketball game and five swim lanes. The capacity has been maintained at 350 bathers.
