The Ville de Brossard organized a discussion workshop on January 30, 2025, concerning the rehabilitation work on Barry Avenue.
Type of work
- Replacement of water and sewer mains (sanitary and storm)
- Rehabilitation of roadway structure and concrete structures
- Upgrade lighting system with LED luminaires
- Addition of measures to promote active mobility and user safety:
- Sidewalk widened on even-numbered address side
- Bike path on the odd-numbered address side
- Updating road signs and markings

Obstacles / Impacts
During the work, traffic and parking will be prohibited in the work area. Only local traffic will be allowed. A temporary increase in traffic on peripheral streets is therefore to be expected in the area during this period.
