The Ville de Brossard organized a discussion workshop on January 30, 2025 regarding the Barry Avenue rehabilitation work.

Obstacles / Impacts
During the work, traffic and parking will be prohibited in the work area. Only local traffic will be allowed. A temporary increase in traffic on peripheral streets is therefore to be expected in the area during this period.

Construction scheduled for June 12 through October 31, 2026
- Complete renovation of the avenue, including underground infrastructure, the roadway, sidewalks, curbs, and street lighting.
- Improvements to the street layout, including new green spaces, upgraded sidewalks, and a bike lane on the odd-numbered side of the street.
- The avenue will be completely closed in the construction zone; only local traffic will be permitted.
- Access is maintained at all times for emergency vehicles.
- Pedestrians and cyclists must follow the temporary signage that has been put in place.
