Today, he focuses on balance and harmony in the arrangement of the elements that make up his work. Indeed, composition is very important in traditional Chinese painting. You can juxtapose various elements that, at first glance, have no relation to each other, in search of the harmony of earthly and cosmic elements to raise awareness of beauty. The images chosen are highly representative of the composition of nature and society, philosophy, religion, morality and art. For example, the peony represents wealth and prestige, the lotus peace and harmony, the crane long life, the hibiscus and the bat fortune, the pine strength, the bamboo uprightness and simplicity, the clivia good manners…
As an artist, HAN often teaches and exhibits Chinese calligraphy and traditional Chinese painting at universities, colleges and artists’ groups. As an actor, he has played over 30 roles in TV shows, films and commercials (active member of Actra and Union des Artistes). As a professor, he has taught Mandarin at McGill and Concordia universities.
