Description: Colombian-born visual artist Lucia Barreto has been living in Québec for 15 years, combining a solid Fine Arts background with expertise in graphic design. From her journey between Bogotá and Montréal – including a landmark collaboration with the Rafael Lozano-Hemmer studio – she has developed a unique multidisciplinary language. Her current practice (painting, drawing, illustration) explores visual storytelling through the observation of everyday life. His works capture the essence of simple gestures and silent emotions, creating human images where graphic rigor meets the sensitivity of the body in motion.
