Maude Tapin

Maude Tapin’s work consists in conveying emotions experienced in different places. For this exhibition, she focused on positive moments, to inject a little serenity into the viewer’s everyday life. She translates her scenes into an idealized form to take us out of the hustle and bustle of today’s society for a moment, to offer a break. As her technique takes a long time to complete, the artist generally works in very small formats. For Utopie d’un moment, she dares to use larger formats, to accentuate the effect of her work and immerse the viewer even further in its complexity.
