Brossard welcomes the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal on August 19!

The City of Brossard is pleased and proud to welcome OSM in the Parks presented by BMO on August 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Parc Poly-aréna.

This not-to-be-missed summer evening is masterfully directed by Rafael Payare and brilliantly hosted by André Robitaille. They invite you to let yourself be carried away by the magic of music and dance, and enjoy a free, privileged event with family and friends.

Being the only city on the South Shore to welcome the OSM this year is a testament to our commitment to culture, and reflects Brossard’s rise on the provincial cultural scene. A vibrant program to the rhythm of dance

The dance-inspired program will spotlight violinist Dmytro Udovychenko, young prodigy and winner of the 2023 Montreal International Music Competition. He will perform Thaïs’ tender Méditation and Ravel’s flamboyant Tzigane. It all culminates in Borodin’s famous Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor.

Free transport with RTL

Due to work in the Poly-Aréna car park, the number of parking spaces will be limited. To facilitate access to the event, the RTL (Réseau de transport de Longueuil) is offering free transport options to residents.

You have two practical options:

Free buses (routes 41, 43 and 44)
Simply present the OSM coupon in the parks, available on the RTL website, for free travel on lines 41, 43 and 44.

Free shuttle bus
Take advantage of a free round-trip shuttle service between the Centre Socioculturel Alphonse-Lepage (7905 San Francisco Ave.) and the OSM site in the parks.

A tasty moment of classical music in the open air

Enjoy the open-air concert from the comfort of your seat on the lawn of Parc Poly-aréna! To make the evening even more enjoyable, we recommend you bring a picnic, a folding chair or blanket, and a reusable water bottle. Filling stations will be available on site.
