To mark the 50th anniversary of her death—and because Agatha Christie remains today the world’s best-known, most-translated, most-read, and best-selling author of detective novels— this lecture, led by historian Sébastien Vincent, offers an overview of her life and explores many of the locations featured in her mystery novels. We’ll also discuss his writing techniques. Presented in the form of an investigation, this lecture makes use of visual aids and encourages audience participation, particularly through quizzes.
