A great tradition to celebrate volunteerism
The Ville de Brossard’s Gala de l’action bénévole is a unifying and inspiring event. Over the years, it has become an annual tradition that highlights the exceptional commitment of those who make a difference in our community.
Every year, this major event brings together several hundred volunteers from local organizations. Through the presentation of seven awards, it highlights inspiring career paths and the tangible impact of civic involvement.
The gala is also an opportunity to collectively thank those who, through their time and efforts, contribute to the vitality of our community.

Participation criteria
In advance of the event, organizations recognized by the city are invited to submit a list of volunteers who have completed a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer work in the past year.
Eligible volunteers then receive an invitation to attend the gala and can apply for tickets. Volunteers can reserve up to two tickets: one for themselves and one for a companion of their choice.
Personalized support
Invited volunteers receive a personalized newsletter containing all the information they need to reserve their tickets.
