The Bistro
Zale Seck is a multi-talented Senegalese artist from a griot family of the Lébou ethnic group. Introduced to his people’s musical traditions from childhood, he now combines singing, guitar, and traditional percussion instruments, notably the sabar and the djembe. Her remarkable voice, which is both powerful and expressive, plays a central role in her artistic world.

A singer-songwriter from Montréal of Colombian descent, Ramon Chicharron blends Latin and Caribbean rhythms with electronic sounds. With a sensitive, passionate, and humorous writing style, this “dream fisherman” explores the contrasts between tradition and modernity, nature and city life, dreams and reality.

Composed of Camille Poliquin and Laurence Lafond-Beaulne, Milk & Bone captivates listeners with its enchanting vocal harmonies, electronic textures, and synthesizers. The duo explores heartbreak as well as the darker sides of friendship and desire. Her album *Deception Bay* won the Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year.

Sophie Lukacs blends Canadian and Hungarian folk music with Mandinka rhythms in songs performed in French, English, Hungarian, and Bambara. Trained by the master Toumani Diabaté, she places the kora—a 21-string instrument with a spellbinding sound—at the heart of her music. His debut album, *Bamako*, features two collaborations with Habib Koité.

Since 2003, Manhu has been offering a fascinating reinterpretation of the music of the Sani, a Yi community based in the Stone Forest region of Yunnan. Hailing from this farming community with its unique cultural identity, the musicians have performed on numerous international stages, including the Beijing National Theater.

The Parvis
A major artist on the Canadian scene, Elisapie’s powerful work combines emotion, modernity and Inuit culture.
Winner of both Canadian and international awards, she will present a show inspired by her critically acclaimed album Inuktitut. On this landmark opus, Elisapie revisits great rock and pop classics, interpreting them in her native Inuktitut, creating an intimate, touching and deeply original musical experience.
Elisapie’s unconditional attachment to her homeland and her language, Inuktitut, lies at the heart of her creative journey. Born in Salluit, a village in Nunavik accessible only by plane, the Inuk singer-songwriter and activist is now a leading figure in the Canadian cultural scene.
On September 15, 2023, Elisapie released *Inuktitut*, her fourth solo album. On this album, the Inuk artist covers ten rock and pop classics from the 1960s to the 1990s, translating and performing them in Inuktitut, her native language. The result is an autobiographical and emotional soundtrack in which each track is dedicated to a loved one or tied to a personal story. Warmly received by the public and praised by critics, *Inuktitut* is the artist’s second album to make the shortlist for the Polaris Prize. Her success also led Elisapie to win a Juno Award in the Contemporary Indigenous Artist of the Year category, as well as five awards at the 2024 ADISQ Gala, and to perform more than 70 concerts in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Always surrounded by the best musicians from Montréal’s indie and folk scenes, Elisapie brings Inuit culture to life with finesse by blending modernity and tradition.

- A tent is provided with a sensory-adapted quiet corner for those who need it.
- Pets are not allowed on the premises.
- Certain sections of the website are accessible to people with limited mobility. Please refer to the accessibility section below.
- You are allowed to bring your own chair and set it up in certain areas on the grounds.

Due to construction near Poly-Aréna Park, parking will be limited near the Festin Culturel. In addition to free rides on regular bus routes, shuttle buses operating on a closed-loop route operated by the Longueuil Agglomeration Transit Network (RTL) will be available. To enable as many people as possible to enjoy the Cultural Festival, various measures have been put in place to promote universal accessibility, while respecting everyone’s individual circumstances and needs:

- Traffic lanes designed to facilitate movement around the site
- Universally accessible restrooms are available at the Desjardins Family Rest Area and near the Culinary Rest Area.
- Public transportation that is partially accessible:

- The availability of closed-loop shuttles has yet to be confirmed
- Area with chairs for members of the public who wish to sit down. Spectators must bring their own chairs.
