Do parents need to buy a ticket?

Yes. Everyone attending the show must have a ticket, whether they are a child or an accompanying adult.

Why do I need to follow the recommended age?

The recommended ages are set by the performing arts companies to ensure the best possible experience for children and their families. We ask that you follow these guidelines to ensure that all spectators have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Can my baby go to the show with the rest of the family?

Children under 2 years of age may attend the show for free when seated on the lap of a parent or guardian. No ticket is required for them.

To ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone in the audience, we ask that parents temporarily leave the theater if their child becomes uncomfortable during the performance. They will be able to return to the room as soon as the situation is back to normal.

A quiet, sensory-friendly area will also be available for families who wish to take a break as needed.

Is the show free?

No. There is an admission fee for family shows. The cost is $13.70 per ticket (plus taxes).

What is the Leisure Support Card (CAL)?

The Leisure Assistance Card (CAL) allows individuals with special needs to receive free assistance during certain activities. For more information on eligibility and terms and conditions, visit the Ville de Brossard’s webpage: Recreational Support Card (CAL).

What accessibility features are available?

We want to provide a welcoming and inclusive experience for all families. A quiet, sensory-friendly area will be set up for children who need to take a break before or during the show.

A hearing assistance system with FM transmission is also available. Viewers who wish to take advantage of this feature must bring their own compatible FM receiver.

Are there any activities before the show?

Yes. Starting at 2:00 p.m., families are invited to participate free of charge in a cultural outreach activity—such as a craft project—related to the program. No registration is required.

Can we visit the gallery during our visit?

Absolutely! The Renée-Blain Gallery is open before the show and features exhibitions as well as various free activities. Take this opportunity to extend your family’s cultural outing.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive by 2:00 p.m. to take part in the free cultural outreach activities and visit the exhibition at the Galerie Renée-Blain before the show begins at 3:00 p.m. The theater doors open 15 minutes before the performance, and seats are not assigned.

How is the room set up?

The room is designed to provide a comfortable experience for families. Chairs are set up at the back of the room for adults and people who prefer to sit higher up. At the front, near the stage, floor cushions are available for children who want to experience the show up close in a friendly, age-appropriate setting.

We ask parents to supervise their children throughout the performance and to choose the seating area that best suits their family.
