Claudio Benedetti

Claudio Benedetti has been a member of the Brossard City Council since 2005, renewing the confidence of the citizens of his district at every election.

A resident of Brossard for over 40 years, it was here that he decided to start his family, and where he saw his children and grandchildren grow up.

As a municipal councillor, he chaired the Traffic Committee and the Environment and Sustainable Development Commission. He also sat on the Commission de la famille et des aînés and represented Brossard on the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal (CMM) Transportation Commission. In the Brossard community, he volunteered with sports organizations for some thirty years.

After a career in consulting engineering, he has been teaching engineering for over 25 years. He is the author of numerous award-winning books on operations management.

Trained in geophysics and industrial engineering, and a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, he is currently a research associate professor in operations management and logistics at UQAT.
