Recent Quebec government directives aimed at protecting the health of the population in the COVID-19 pandemic situation stipulate, among other things, that any public meeting of a municipal body must be held without the presence of the public, but must be publicized as soon as possible by any means making it possible to know the content of the discussions between the participants and the result of the members' deliberations, in accordance with Ministerial Order number 2020-074 of October 2, 2020. In addition, when such a meeting includes, by law, a public question period, it must be possible for the public to submit questions in writing prior to the meeting. In this context, please take note that the regular meeting of the municipal council of the City of Brossard will be held without the presence of the public, by videoconference on Wednesday, January 28, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. No citizens will be admitted to the Town Hall for this meeting.
