Recent Quebec government directives aimed at protecting the health of the population in the event of a COVID-19 pandemic stipulate, among other things, that any public meeting of a municipal body must be held without the public being present, but must be publicized as soon as possible by any means making it possible to know the content of the discussions between the participants and the outcome of the members' deliberations, in accordance with ministerial decree number 433-2021 of March 24, 2021. In addition, when such a meeting includes, by law, a public question period, it must be possible for the public to submit questions in writing prior to the meeting. In this context, please take note that the regular meeting of the municipal council of the City of Brossard will be held without the presence of the public, by videoconference on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 7:30 pm.
