Composition

  • The commission is made up of elected members, officers and citizens;
  • Members are appointed by resolution of the Municipal Council.

  • The Associative Life and Social Development Supervisor;

General mandate

  • Carry out mandates assigned by the planning committee;
  • To recommend principles and actions aimed at enhancing the cultural diversity of Brussells and developing harmonious relations between different communities. All to be integrated into the Integrated Policy and Action Plan;
  • Report annually on actions carried out and propose updates where necessary.

Specific mandates

  • Rayonnement et Appartenance communications campaign – Brossard;
  • Measures to integrate cultural communities;
  • Develop a welcoming policy for new Brussells residents, taking cultural diversity into account.

Frequency of meetings

Meetings are held at least four times a year, or more frequently when necessary.

Quorum

The quorum is set at four members, including at least one elected member of the Municipal Council.
