Composition

  • The committee is made up of elected members and municipal employees;
  • Members are appointed by resolution of the Municipal Council.

Officers

  • A representative of general management;
  • The head of the procurement department;
  • On request, internal and external resources can be invited to present files to the committee;

General mandate

  • Carry out mandates assigned by the planning committee;
  • Monitor the progress of jobs and contracts over $25,000 on a monthly basis, and contracts under $25,000 on an annual basis;

  • Identify best practices in municipal contract management;
  • Annually evaluate policies, including: Contract Management Policy, Administrative Directive – Procurement of Goods and Services and all other directives related to procurement and contracts.
