The new administrative structure adopted by City Council on December 9, 2025 is based on several coordination and governance mechanisms:
- an executive committee that aims for swifter decision-making, clearer debates and truly symbiotic political and administrative action, in the public interest.
- a Chairman of the Board, responsible for chairing meetings in accordance with the by-laws;
- a municipal committee structure (hyperlink) covering all departments to support the development of policies, guidelines and regulations;
- an administrative organization grouped under the General Management, which ensures efficiency, transparency and collaboration between departments;
- the Strategic Affairs and Development Division, responsible for integrated land-use planning and sustainable development.
This structure fosters a modern, transparent and performance-oriented administration at the service of the citizens of Brossard.
