June 27 – Water leak at the intersection of Promenade Saint-Laurent and rue Saint-Charles: Situation restored

Water leak – Secteur rue Saint-Charles | Situation restored

The leak, which occurred this morning on a 300 mm (12″) pipe at the intersection of Saint-Charles and Promenade Saint-Laurent, was successfully plugged.

The water supply has now been restored to all affected homes.

Theboil-water advisory is no longer in effect for the following addresses: 8400 and 8405 rue Saint-Charles.

Update – Water leak in the Saint-Charles / Promenade Saint-Laurent area

• Addresses 8400, 8405, 8480 and 8484 rue Saint-Charles are currently without water due to a leak that occurred this morning at the intersection of rue Saint-Charles and Promenade Saint-Laurent.
• Repair work is underway. We are awaiting details of the estimated duration of the intervention.
• A boil-water advisory will be issued for affected residences once the work has been completed, in accordance with sanitary protocols.

Context of the situation

• The break is located on rue Saint-Charles.
• Vehicles parked in the intervention zone had to be moved to avoid interfering with operations.

• Our teams are continuing to fully assess the situation.
