✅ Preventive boil water advisory lifted
The preventive boil-water advisory for the entire Brossard territory, issued at 8 p.m. on September 27, has now been lifted.
💧 Recommendations after emergence:
- Let the cold water run for a few minutes before use.
- Dispose of the ice produced during the notice and clean the ice cube trays.
- Rinse tanks and appliances that may have accumulated water (coffee makers, fountains, etc.).

The Agglomération de Longueuil is maintaining the preventive boil water advisory for the City of Brossard, as well as for the City of Saint-Lambert, the borough of Greenfield Park and the Le Moyne sector in Longueuil. This notice is in effect at least until September 30, 8 p.m.
It is recommended to :
- boil water for at least one minute before use, until further notice;
- let the water run if colored, then boil for one minute before use;
- reduce drinking water consumption to a minimum.
Pressure drops could occur, particularly in buildings of 4 storeys or more in the Le Moyne sector and the Greenfield Park borough. In these cases, it’s best to use your personal reserves, or buy from neighbors, friends or family members.

Preventive boiling advisory in effect
🚨Since Saturday, September 27, 8 p.m., a precautionary boil-water advisory has been in effect throughout the territory of the City of Brossard for a minimum of 48 hours.
This precautionary boil-water advisory issued by the Agglomération de Longueuil is required because of planned modernization work at the Le Royer drinking water plant, which serves these sectors.

- Water may be colored: Let water run until clear, then boil for one minute before use.
