The Brossard Sun Life Half Marathon will result in temporary street and bike path closures, as well as parking restrictions. Obstructions are to be expected throughout the event.
Interference to be expected – Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24, 2025

- Roadblocks and temporary street closures will be in effect from 1 a.m. to 3 p.m. on August 24, while parking bans will apply from Saturday, August 23, 2025 on Boulevard de Rome, and wherever temporary “no parking” signs are posted.

- Some bike paths will also be closed from 6 a.m. to noon.
Despite these impediments, citizens maintained access to their homes during the event. The Service de police de l’agglomération de Longueuil (SPAL) will ensure the safe sharing of the road between residents and runners.
