Context

Brossard is a dynamic and inclusive city, renowned for its cultural diversity. The city is growing and evolving, but our priority remains the same: to put people at the heart of our actions, in an environment where life is good at every stage of life.

That’s why Brossard is putting its Citizen Life Policy into action. This policy ensures consistency between our current and future policies and action plans, and supports initiatives such as the Municipalité amie des aînés (MADA ) accreditation, an international program aimed at improving the quality of life of seniors.


Profile required

We invite people from all walks of life to apply:

  • a senior (65 and over) ;
  • a parent/guardian with minor child(ren);
  • a teenager (aged 12 to 17) with written parental or guardian authorization;
  • a young adult (aged 18 to 29) ;
  • two residents from the ÉDI principles (equity, diversity and inclusion).

Your role

  • Participate in face-to-face validation meetings.
  • Help identify local issues and priorities.
  • Promote the dissemination of information in the community.
  • Recommend adoption of the Citizen Life Policy and Action Plan.
  • Support the implementation of the various stages of the process.
  • Ensure that monitoring mechanisms are in place.

Duration and meetings

Term of office: 12 months.

Scheduled meetings: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Hôtel de ville, face-to-face with accommodations
